How do I/can I leave a comment on an article?

At The Falconaire|Online, we welcome your comments. Every article and most pages have a comments box directly underneath the main content. Please note the following before commenting:

  • All comments are held for moderation before posting.
  • Comments must be in good taste. Comments with strong language, feelings of hate or discrimination will not be published.
  • We require the filling of an email address as an anti-spam method. Alternately, you may login with a Disqus Profile, Facebook Connect, OpenID, Twitter, or Yahoo. For information about our comments system, read on.

I want to share what I just read with someone, can I do that?

Of course! Simply use one of the buttons at the end of an article to share it how ever you want. We use the ShareThis platform, which supports an major social network (like Twitter), link sharing site (like Reddit), email, and IM network (like AIM).

I’ve got a story tip. Who do I contact?

If you think you’ve got a good news story, be it an article you wrote or an article you’d like to see us write, please fill out our story tips form on our contact page. Click here to go there.

I’d like to contact a member of staff. How can I do that?

Please visit our contact page and select the option that best pertains to why you need to contact us.

I want to read on the go. Do you have a mobile site?

The Falconaire|Online features a mobile edition that is easy to use, and is quick to load. This slimmed down version lets you read the latest news without any distractions and automatically loads when a mobile browser is detected. If you’d rather visit the full version, there’s a link at the bottom of the mobile version to do that too.

What is Disqus?

Disqus (pronounced “Discuss”) is a third-party commenting system we use to collect, moderate, and publish approved comments. Disqus has a built-in spam filtering system that may on occasion falsely catch your comment as spam. If you’re one of the few unlucky humans this happens to, please try to post your comment again.

    Dear Falconaire Staff,
    Thank you for mentioning my son Dan in this enlightening article. Throughout his entire life, my Dan was an unselfish individual who truly cared about other people (before his death, he and his friends signed up to be bone marrow donors). I can only hope that the MRHS students will use my Dan as an example, and increase their concern for other people, in whatever means possible. Thank you again for a great article.
    P.S. – We just received word that two NJ residents were given back the gift of sight from the Dan’s sharing.
